Seminar and exhibition of yam composite products took place on March 16 2017 at Abuja.

The workshop was held at the White Sands hotel Tanzania on the 4th of March 2017 and drew a diverse range of participants to build a common platform to support yam research
Members of the National Yam Export Committee in Nigeria visited IITA on the 10th May 2017 and inspected Yam varieties developed under the AfricaYam project in screenhouse conditions and modern yam storage facilities.
